Terms of Use

The game

GeoRugby is a free game for entertainment. It's for a general audience around the world, and anyone can play as a guest. We work hard to keep questions, answers and map locations accurate, but we can't guarantee that every fact is right. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.

GeoRugby doesn't currently sell anything. If that changes, we'll add clear terms first.

Accounts

Accounts are optional. If you create one, keep your password safe, use an email address you control, and tell us if you think someone else has accessed it. Under-13s should ask a parent or guardian first.

Play fair

• Don't use bots, scripts, automation or modified clients, or look up answers through the app's internals.
• Don't try to manipulate scores, submit results for other people, or get around the one-result-per-day rule.
• Don't overload, probe or disrupt the service, or try to access data that isn't yours.
• Names you choose for leaderboards, challenges and groups must not be offensive, hateful, impersonating or misleading, and must not contain personal details of others.

We may remove or hide scores, names, groups or challenges that break these rules or look fraudulent, and may suspend or close accounts involved. Where reasonable we'll explain why.

Groups, challenges and names

Group names and display names are visible to other players who have the link or share the group. You're responsible for what you enter. Group owners manage their own groups, and we can step in if something breaks these terms.

Our content and trademarks

The GeoRugby name, design, questions and code belong to us or our licensors. Please don't copy the question bank or the game.

GeoRugby is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by World Rugby, any national union, competition, club, stadium or player. Names of teams, competitions and venues are used only to describe real rugby facts, and belong to their owners.

Other services, links and ads

Explanations may link to other websites, such as Wikipedia, which we don't control. GeoRugby may be funded by third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are supplied by third parties, and we aren't responsible for advertisers' products or sites.

Changes and availability

We may change, pause or stop features, questions or the game itself, and we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and continuing to play means you accept the update.

Liability

GeoRugby is provided free, "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Ending things

You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account at georugbyinfo@gmail.com. We may suspend or end access for anyone who seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

Law

GeoRugby can be played from anywhere. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Wherever you live, you keep any mandatory consumer and privacy protections of your local law, and you may bring claims in your local courts where that law allows.
